Brian Bennett is a Certified Financial Planner, CFP® with Diversified Financial Group (DFG) in West Des Moines, Iowa. DFG is an independent comprehensive financial planning firm that includes 35 associates with an average of over 20 years of industry experience and close to $1 Billion in total client assets.

Brian’s career in financial services began in 1987 with IDS (Ameriprise). He ascended to a middle management position before leaving in 1993, at which time, he and two associates formed Diversified Financial Group. He works primarily with pre-retired and retired clients in the area of retirement, tax, investment, protection and estate planning.

Attention to detail, good listening skills and great empathy are symbols of his appreciation by his clients. His communication skills and high touch approach to service have made Brian a valuable resource to clients.

Brian has held the prestigious designation of CFP®, Certified Financial Planner for over 20 years, he also holds the series 6,7,63 & 65, as well as life & accident & health licenses. He works with clients through the Midwest and across the country.

Brian is a graduate from Mankato State University. He is married to Maggie and they have four children, Taylor, Alexandra, Lauren and Addison. He is a member of Sacred Heart Church and has been involved in numerous church and community works over the years and recently began working with hospice patients.

Brian believes that his duty to clients is to help them plan for what they hope will be a long gratifying life. However, he knows that there are never any certainties in life and suggests a balanced life to his clients, by saving for tomorrow but also living for today.
